The role of a firefighter is a career for anyone, the only restriction is age. You must be at least 17 1\/2 to apply.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You will have an opportunity to meet the team and try your hand at a number of activities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>The activities include:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Equipment Carry<\/li>\n<li>Breathing Apparatus Experience<\/li>\n<li>Ladder Climb<\/li>\n<li>Equipment Assembly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Booking is not required but a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/591457524784696\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook Event<\/a> has been set up to gauge the number of people attending.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please note this event has been canceled.
