Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury collision in East Dorset.<\/p>\n
Dorset Police received a report at 2.23pm on Wednesday 15 June 2022 of a collision involving a Mercedes Benz A Class, a Volkswagen Tourag and a blue Kia Sportage on the A31 between the Canford Bottom roundabout and the junction with Forest Links Road.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Kia \u2013 a woman aged in her 50s from Hampshire \u2013 sustained serious injuries and was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Mercedes and two of the passengers in the vehicle were also taken to hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n
The road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. It reopened at around 4.55pm.<\/p>\n
Police Constable Kier Dagnall, of the traffic unit, said: \u201cI am appealing to any motorists who witnessed the collision, or moments leading up to it, to please get in touch.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you were travelling in the area and have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle, I would ask you to please check it for any relevant footage to help my enquiries.<\/p>\n
\u201cFinally, I am keen to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place. This allowed emergency services to safely treat the injured people.\u201d<\/p>\n
