{"id":47515,"date":"2023-02-24T07:23:47","date_gmt":"2023-02-24T07:23:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/verwoodtoday.co.uk\/?p=47515"},"modified":"2023-02-23T19:34:34","modified_gmt":"2023-02-23T19:34:34","slug":"chef-surprises-verwood-residents-with-special-pancake-tower","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/martin.mx\/verwood\/2023\/02\/chef-surprises-verwood-residents-with-special-pancake-tower\/","title":{"rendered":"Chef surprises Verwood residents with special pancake tower"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A chef at a Verwood care home has surprised residents with a pancake tower.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Chef Mark Albray encouraged residents at Verwood House Care Home to roll their sleeves up on Pancake Day to create the colourful treat.<\/p>\n<p>But it was his grand creation that grew and grew so much that it left residents stunned.<\/p>\n<p>Mark said: &#8220;Pancake Day is one of the most fun days of the year, and you can really get creative with pancakes which are actually very easy to make.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Although Mark is not giving away his secret ingredient, he did share his method with residents and a top tip to add in generous portions of cream.<\/p>\n<p>Mark added: &#8220;Lots of colour and multiple layers, that is sure to impress!
