Emergency services have rescued a woman in her 40s trapped in her car following a crash in Horton.<\/p>\n
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the incident at around 3pm on Wednesday on the B3078 Cranborne Road near the Horton Inn at Horton. The vehicle involved was a red Ford Fiesta.<\/p>\n
The fire service assisted with removing her from the vehicle and she was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n
Following enquiries at the scene, an 18-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of a road traffic offence.<\/p>\n
Police Constable Tom Pocock, of Dorset Police, said: \u201cWe are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to please come forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am particularly keen to speak to a man in a black T-shirt who assisted the injured woman at the scene as he may have information to assist our investigation.<\/p>\n
\u201cFinally, I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area with dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage for anything of relevance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.<\/p>\n
