Changes on the high street in Verwood this month include the closure of Renoufs Cheese and Wine Bar and the opening of another barbers.<\/p>\n

Customers with reservations at Renoufs were told this week that the bar has closed permanently, and follows the business being put up for sale in December last year.<\/p>\n

VerwoodToday.co.uk has contacted Renoufs for additional details.<\/p>\n

Signage on the property has changed to Olive & Oak.<\/p>\n

Renoufs Verwood opened<\/a> in 2019 just months before the pandemic hit, and joined a network of six other Renoulf bars around the area. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Istanbul Barbers has opened in the former Hays Travel shop, next door to Champion Barbers. It is open seven days a week and do not require appointments to be made in advance.<\/p>\n

The Verwood Sports and Social Club has also closed<\/a> – it served its last pints on Tuesday, and the Albion Pub recently closed<\/a> its doors citing increased energy costs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
