A dance company in Ringwood operated by a Verwood dance teacher is bringing back its musical theatre summer school in the summer holidays.<\/p>\n
Helen Hawkins Dance Company is putting on a week-long workshop for the third time covering acting, dancing and singing with groups for 6 to 18 year olds in August.<\/p>\n
Students will work towards a performance on the final evening, accompanied by live musicians and directed by Ian and Helen Hawkins.<\/p>\n
Helen told VerwoodToday: “This is a really unique opportunity to spend a week working with current West End and professional performers. We have connections with performers that have been in, or currently are in, Mamma Mia!, The Choir of Man, Half A Sixpence and Mary Poppins! <\/p>\n
“You do not need any experience in acting, dancing or singing – just a passion to learn.”<\/p>\n
