{"id":48049,"date":"2023-06-07T18:50:57","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T17:50:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/verwoodtoday.co.uk\/?p=48049"},"modified":"2023-06-07T18:50:57","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T17:50:57","slug":"ferndown-fire-crew-ask-people-to-avoid-parley-common-as-fire-breaks-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/martin.mx\/verwood\/2023\/06\/ferndown-fire-crew-ask-people-to-avoid-parley-common-as-fire-breaks-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferndown fire crew ask people to avoid Parley Common as fire breaks out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently advising people to avoid the Parley Common area of Ferndown after a large fire broke out.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Multiple fire engines are attending to the blaze, which is just south of Ferndown Golf Club and north east of Parley Cross.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s believed the fire started around 4pm and the emergency services are expected to be in attendance into the evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Ferndown crew tweeted: &#8220;We\u2019re currently dealing with a heath fire at Parley Common and will be here some time.
