Police officers are looking for a man in connection with reports of a cyclist being bitten by a dog between Stephen\u2019s Castle Viewpoint and Stephen\u2019s Stones in Ringwood Forest.<\/p>\n
An image of a man they would like to speak to has been released by Police.<\/p>\n
It was reported that on Wednesday 2 August 2023 and Tuesday 12 September 2023 a man was bitten by a dog on both occasions. He sustained injuries to his leg and had to seek medical treatment.<\/p>\n
A man with the dog reportedly left the scene after both incidents and did not leave his details.<\/p>\n
Police Crime Support Investigator, Lindy Wilson, of Dorset Police, said: \u201cThis was understandably a distressing time for the cyclist involved and we hope he makes a recovery from his injuries.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are conducting enquiries into this matter and have obtained images of a man with the dog who we believe to be involved. We are keen to speak to this man so we can take their account of what happened.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would urge anyone with information relating to their identity to please come forward. I would also ask the man pictured to please do the right thing and come forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would also like to hear from any witnesses to the incident who have not already spoken to police.\u201d<\/p>\n
